Prioritize what matters, drop the rest
You're excited about your products. You know there's a market. You're selling online. But something's off.
Maybe it seems harder than it ought to be. Or harder than it used to be. What to do?
When uncertain and feeling pressure to perform, it can feel impossible to make choices and move forward. This is basic neuroscience. A brain under stress defends. A brain at rest, by contrast, can open to new ideas, can spot the previously unseen solution amidst the mess. Initiative and confidence follow.
This fact of human experience is as true in our personal circumstances as it is in our business strategy deliberations.
A remarkable consequence of pairing up
And similarly true, if not common knowledge, is how the brain regulates itself in relationship with others. The people you connect with and feel supported by can enable, accelerate even, you body's learning and understanding. It can make all the difference when someone comes alongside. (This is more than a notion, it's neurologically observed and part of the scientific literature.)
Even better if the person (or team) has walked this way before, so to speak. A simple observation from a seasoned eye can make obvious what we didn't see before.
Now, as you feel joined in the journey, the vast possibilities start to winnow and fall into order. Priorities sharpen. The strain of budgeting eases.
Relief that comes with clarity
What's the priority for building your ecommerce sales channel now, given your constraints and opportunities?
Wouldn't it feel great to answer that question confidently?
What have you overlooked in how you take or fulfill orders that would make the difference? That would make it easier, more profitable?
Together let's identify the important multipliers. Bring clarity to the decision-making around your ecommerce channel. Clear the decks and focus on what will make an impact now.
This starts here with the Game Plan program, and might continue through our Coach program.
Examples of people who choose the Game Plan
- Manufacturing company with a B2B wholesale history that wants to grow factory-direct B2C retail.
- Ecommerce manager frustrated with a paid traffic program that's unprofitable.
- Product brand concerned about dependence on Amazon, wanting direct customer relationships.
- Entrepreneur wanting direction for a team that's distracted by the new or shiny.
IMPROVE
Let's get together
Come to Austin, Texas or Bozeman, Montana USA to make your Game Plan! Before you come, we'll do our part. In preparation you'll be asked to do your part. We'll ask questions, share data, and describe opportunities. But when it comes time to finalize the plan, we prefer to do that in person.
Over a day or two we deliberate and define your Game Plan. We talk, review the data, affirm your values, eat, drink, and talk some more. There may be whiteboards. Depending on the season and our schedules, you can pick the location of either ebusiness coach office.
While we've been known to travel to client locations outside the US, seriously, this is how it works. We get together.
Kudos to Patrick. He knows every part of the Internet game and I call it a game because it's crazy what goes on out there... It's like learning a whole new business over again...I would be nowhere without Patrick. He knows the game. He's not the miracle cure. You have to know your business.
For a manufacturer making the transition to ecommerce, they have to think about what their long-term strategy is...Patrick has a tremendous amount of experience creating strategies that work for the business owners and that'll help them have a growth path to further their ecommerce sales in a profitable way.
Is this for you?
The GAME PLAN program is for leaders who value looking ahead and choosing among the many ideas vying for attention and budget. It's valued by teams needing direction on priorities. If you've felt overwhelmed at evaluating trends and opportunities, this may be for you. But if you prefer to try new tactics as you learn of them and just see what works over time, then this program is NOT for you. It precedes our agency program.
How the GAME PLAN works

Establish a baseline
Your primary question or concern will focus our work across a 192 point checklist. Developed over 20 years, our audit prioritizes what to optimize related to taking and fulfilling orders. This includes your team. An initial consultation will set the priority across four areas: platforms, programs, people, processes.

Remove the clutter and focus
There's no shortage of charts. Each software or tool brings its own. Plus Google Analytics. Imagine removing the data clutter and revealing the marketing and fulfillment-related measurements that matter most, given your circumstances today. You'll get a simple dashboard to focus the team.

Decisions out of dialogue
We deliver a game plan with strategic recommendations and tactical priorities. But it's our conversational dialogue that builds confidence in your decisions, including budgets. Follow-up consultations included in this program affirm your direction. Feel supported in how you move forward with more impact.
Apply to participate in our programs
You don't have to decide which program is best for you. But if what you've seen so far here suggests we'd be a match, then the next step is to complete our new client application.
Availability to join our programs may be limited by capacity or season, but we do prioritize responding to your inquiry. You'll quickly learn whether we can help or who we recommend instead. You're moments away from getting started. You'll be glad you did.
