Human Scale Business
Patrick's got deep technical knowledge, strong technology chops, but he's not limited by that. Some people that are in a technology field lose the ability to put those tools and technologies in perspective. So I think the second thing that Patrick really brings is an overall business perspective. He not only recognizes today's tools and trends and opportunities, but he also understands how that fits into the broader business picture.
Patrick's put in over 20 years and the practice and the breadth of experience comes into play. It's his ability to translate often difficult and new concepts into relevant language. He understands the jargon, but he's a great translator of ideas and technologies into the situated world of his clients.
Patrick's been my web consultant guru for the past 15 years. It was with him and his company that we first broke the $1M mark. It's been a long journey from the early days of dial-up.
Ebusiness Coach's contribution to our growth spans nearly two decades of helping us execute an aggressive ecommerce growth strategy in all kinds of creative ways; all but discounting. Patrick's right that we never make a sale at the expense of discounting."
Kudos to Patrick. He knows every part of the Internet game and I call it a game because it's crazy what goes on out there as far as advertising via Google, etc. It's like learning a whole new business over again. Thanks to Patrick, three years later, I know way more than I probably ever wanted to know. It's crazy how much goes into it.
I would be nowhere without Patrick. He knows the game. He's not the miracle cure. You have to know your business and you have to know which direction you want to go. I will tell you that it's not something that you go hit a key and it's done or you push a button. It's a continual evolution day in and day out and part of that is because the Internet changes the game and the rules on you daily.
And so we play that game as well, and Patrick's wonderful help along the way.

For a manufacturer making the transition to ecommerce, they have to think about what their long-term strategy is. Take somebody who's been through the process many times, my advice to anybody who's thinking about starting a real ecommerce presence is to find good help at the beginning.
Patrick has a tremendous amount of experience creating strategies that work for the business owners and that'll help them have a growth path to further their ecommerce sales in a profitable way.
Patrick’s deep knowledge about selling online and his ability to transfer that knowledge to my company has allowed us to exceed our revenue goals and to have a top-performing web site when compared against our peers. He is someone who we have repeatedly sought consulting from and training for our company and employees. Patrick is an excellent resource and leader.

What we've accomplished with our website is something that not only couldn't have been to the level it's at now, but couldn't have been done in the time that's it taken. We'd be years behind if we hadn't used someone like Patrick.
It was me speaking to another company that utilized Patrick's services that gave me confidence. Then when I spoke with Patrick directly and once we had a clear understanding of what we wanted to accomplish, there was no doubt in my mind that he was someone we'd use.
Patrick offers a lot of experience, knows different service providers, has his own experienced team. Our people are just not versed in the vast array of specialties.
There are a lot of costs associated with developing an ecommerce website and you can save yourself a lot of money in the long run, a lot of time, by getting right who it is you want to work with. Patrick brought a lot to the table. He has a lot of resources. He helps to mitigate costs and utilize people and expertise that we don't.

Patrick Pitman has been an invaluable ally on the day-to-day Battlefields we fight in the Great War of e-commerce. Aside from his superb ability to execute and deliver the goods, he always gives the very best of himself in terms of advice, time allocation and strategic foresight.
What I admire most about him however, is the fact that he really cares and that is something tremendously valuable.
I’ve worked with Patrick for nearly 10 years and could not recommend him more highly.
Over many years, I've seen the direct impact and benefits that ecommerce merchants get from working with Patrick. It's incredibly rare that we come across somebody with the breadth and depth of experience that Patrick offers, and it's always a pleasure to interact with him.
From technology to marketing to product management to strategic business decisions, Patrick solves problems in a clear and forward-thinking way that I find incredibly valuable. Based on the growth and success of the Foxy.io merchants who've engaged with Patrick, as well as on the myriad discussions he and I have had over the years, I'd strongly recommend Patrick for any business wanting to get that extra clarity, focus, and push they might need to succeed
You don't have to go it alone
The kinds of comments you find on this page are all from people like you who wanted to do more, struggle less, and catch a break now and then. The online retail world moves quickly. There's no silver bullet or magic button. But there is an easier way. Make new mistakes, not the same ones others have already made. Get some help.
You already helped us so much. You have no idea. When you work with people like you and Dave, it's at a different level. It's so much that we can start to apply. We're implementing the next day and learning how to improve.
We're understanding Customer Lifetime Value (CLTV), we're seeing it's significance now. You talked about getting the 2nd order. We were missing a huge component of our ecommerce business. The email flows that we're working on with you is a part of it.
What you're teaching us about CLTV -- how to understand and improve it -- is as important as anything else! To get the repeat order, maybe its as or more important than getting a new customer.
Also, you're teaching us about bringing accountability around allocating our marketing dollars and what are the outcomes from those activities. Especially with the spreadsheets. What are we spending and why?
Email: we used to avoid that, afraid of sending too many. Now we see the value of strategically planned emails and the flows and how it might look friendly and personal. There's so much that I'm wrapping my head around.
I care about the brand. You've got to care about the brand. If you don't have a solid brand, someone knocks you off, and then you have no legs to stand upon. But with our brand, our customers can support not just our
product but the social enterprise aspect.
Former e-commerce director

Former COO ITC, Inc., maker of Dermawand
Patrick did a fantastic job in helping us understand our ecommerce potential; He is a thoughtful, smart, and knowledgable professional and exhibits great integrity; I would recommend Patrick highly.
What might you say here someday?
If you've watched any of these videos or skimmed the words of the people on this page, you might have noticed a theme: relief.
There's a relief that comes when someone who's been there before can come alongside and walk for a while with you on this journey. That feeling is something you might be able to speak to on this page someday...
Maybe we'll get something done you don't have the skills or team to get done on your own. Maybe you'll avoid a costly detour. Likely you'll discover a point of leverage that you've been looking for, what was just out of view before.
It's a good thing you're here now.
